Back in February the Wisconsin Historical Museum located here in Madison, Wisconsin, opened a brand new bike-themed exhibition. It's called: Shifting Gears: A Cyclical History of Badger Bicycling.

Wisconsin has a proud and long history with the bicycle and the Shifting Gears exhibit showcases just that. And just like our great state, our parent company Saris Cycling Group, shares many decade's worth of cycling history right here in Madison. We were flattered when they asked us and our indoor cycles to be a part of the experience.

Featuring an incredible collection of vintage bikes, Shifting Gears documents the evolution of all things cycling. From clothes, to frames, to bike horns – this exhibit is truly made for all the bike nerds out there.

The past and future of bikes.

On top of all the artifacts, museum goers can virtually experience two favorite biking experiences in Wisconsin from the saddle of our Phantom indoor cycles: the Elroy-Sparta Trail and the Green Bay Packer's tradition of riding the bikes of young fans to training camp.

The Packers interactive feature was complete with a jersey – for good measure.

The exhibit was co-developed by the author of Wheel Fever: How Wisconsin Became a Great Bicycling State and will be on display here in Madison through October 10th of 2015 before moving to Appleton, Wisconsin.
